2023 Garces Holy Smoke Fall BBQ
Thank you to everyone who helped to make the 2023 Holy Smoke Fall BBQ a huge success! The BBQ took place on Thursday, October 12th in the quad at Garces. We had close to 1,000 guests and volunteers on our campus enjoying our most profitable BBQ ever! We served a delicious dinner thanks to the BBQ crew who grilled up NY Steaks served with beans from Casa Munoz, dinner rolls from Pyrenees French Bakery, tomatoes, salad, and salsa from Wool Growers, roasted potatoes from the Garces Cafeteria, ice cream from Dewar’s, and cake from Jake’s Tex Mex. The wine was provided by Sunview Vineyards. A special thank you to Jon Barnes who grilled up sausages for all our guests. Thanks to our sponsors, ticket buyers, committee members, and volunteers - we had a net profit of over $75,000!
