Garces Memorial FFA
Chapter History
In the summer of 2018, Ashleigh Rossi an FFA alumni established the Garces Memorial FFA program (CA0588) with the six founding members - Catherine Bayne, Clarisse Tracy, Caroline Napier, Garret Wiswall, Lindsay Magar, and Van Templeton. The last of the founding members graduated in 2021. Today the organization has grown to 75 members and counting.
Our Program
FFA is more than showing animals at the Fair or studying agriculture in the classroom. Every student enrolled in an agricultural course at Garces is a member within the National FFA organization. It is a school-based agricultural education balancing classroom instruction, leadership development and hands-on learning. Garces has a four year classroom instruction program plus an internship opportunity for seniors. The Garces agriculture program changes lives and prepares members for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.
