On Wednesday at Sam Tobias Field, five Garces Memorial senior student-athletes signed National Letters of Intent to four-year college athletic programs.
DeAndre Beldo signed to wrestle at Gannon University, a Division II program in Pennsylvania.

Julianna Escobedo signed to play women’s gold at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, D-III program.

Austin Galanski signed to play men’s water polo at the University of Redlands, a D-III program in the Inland Empire.

Isabella Garcia signed to play women’s water polo at Santa Clara University, a D-I program in the Bay Area.

And Brady Highfill signed to play men’s soccer at Westmont College, an NAIA program in Santa Barbara.

That makes 10 senior student-athletes from Garces this year that have signed to play athletics at a four-year university, along with George Rice (water polo, Cal Baptist), Zach Buckey (football, Stanford), Zion Hall (football, Cal Poly), Aidan Meek (football, Sac State) and JJ Uphold (football, Wyoming).
