Advanced Placement U.S. History
Acceptance to the A.P. U.S. History class requires successfully completing the application process, an appropriate GPA and "A" in both semesters of Freshman World History, teacher recommendation and permission of the instructor. Faculty members will provide input regarding student work ethic, motivation, class participation, and class behavior as part of the selection process.
 
Advanced Placement Economics/Government
Acceptance to the A.P. Economics/Government class requires successfully completing the application process, an appropriate GPA, teacher recommendation and permission of the instructor. Faculty members will provide input regarding student work ethic, motivation, class participation, and class behavior as part of the selection process.
 
Advanced Placement European History
Advanced Placement European History students will be selected based on the following criteria: performance in previous english/history courses (AP or Honors preferred), overall GPA and work ethic. Preference will be given to upper classmen.
 
Advanced Placement Psychology
AP Psychology students will be selected based on recommendations of the Department Chair, counselors and instructors collaborating to make the final decision of admittance to the course.  Expectations for AP students include (but are not limited to) four additional chapters in the text and participation in the AP research project.
